I love mountains, running, climbing, español, good music, simplicity, traveling, the Americas, portugues, learning, laughing, lightning bugs, being outside, and sharing meals, stories, moments, and life.
One to many goals
The measure of your worth
Can sink your weight in gold
Sat by the ivory sail
The further out you look
The further out you’ll be….

Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books that are now written in a very foreign tongue. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, TO LIVE EVERYTHING. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer.
such great sounds! … keep your head up :). Stubborn Love by the Lumineers.
The Church says: the body is a sin.
Science says: the body is a machine.
Advertising says: The body is a business.
The Body says: I am a fiesta.”La Iglesia dice: El cuerpo es una culpa.
La ciencia dice: El cuerpo es una máquina.
La publicidad dice: El cuerpo es un negocio.
El cuerpo dice: Yo soy la fiesta.
Who wouldn’t be a mountaineer? Up here all the world’s prizes seem nothing.
Ahh this is why climbing is awesome… it’s empowering, strengthening, cleansing, and humbling. Climbing always has its own way of teaching you things. It teaches you to focus, prioritize, take care of yourself, set goals, make damn good decisions, to listen, to trust. The sport constantly urges you to be better. The challenge always ends up showing yourself exactly what you have to work on and that you’re ultimately stronger than you think you are. Climbing makes the impossible seem even a bit more possible, whatever your next move might be. Check out this awesome video about how rock climbing provides a positive outlet to confront challenges of life in favelas of Rio de Janeiro.
